A Year of Harvests

My photos in A Year of Harvests are not from the same year or even the same location. Yes, the photos and plants were all mine, collected at our previous and current locations. The photos were taken somewhat randomly over the past 20 years. When organized into a single gallery, they may give some idea of the variety of edible plants that can be grown in the year-round Florida garden.

Both locations are typical suburban lots. Not a lot of space, in other words. My strategies for extending harvests include succession-planting vegetables, and growing perennials whenever possible. I select both early and late fruiting varieties of citrus, or whatever fruit tree I can squeeze into the landscape.
